Besant Hall Records proudly present Sun and Moon, a new offering from Lisa Gerrard in conjunction with Gergana Dimitrova (soloist from Le Mystére des Voix Bulgares), arriving on all major digital streaming platforms on 22nd May 2026.

Co-composed by Dimitrova and Gerrard, Sun and Moon is an otherworldly journey that showcases the extraordinary vocal artistry of both performers. Blending rich musical traditions with shifting moods and textures, the album weaves together the sounds of traditional Bulgarian instruments with the depth of Western classical strings to create something truly immersive and timeless.

This is a meeting between intuitive singing and millennia-old tradition.
This album is a dialogue between cultures and emotions – between the earthly and the ethereal, between tradition and contemporary sound. Within it, we weave the roots of Bulgarian vocal mysticism with the cosmic sensitivity and spiritual depth that connect us beyond words.
Every tone is a story. Every voice – a bridge. This is music that is not simply heard, but experienced – like a memory of something familiar and, at the same time, the discovery of something new.
This is an invitation to the listener to immerse, to feel, to remember. To find the silence between the sounds and the meaning behind them.
With gratitude for this meeting of worlds – and with the belief that music remains the purest language that connects us.
It is a space where two forces meet without conflict. Two truths that do not deny each other, but complete one another. Two women who, through their voices, create a world—gentle, powerful, and profound.

A world where there is no need to be more or less.
Only to be.
And to resonate. – Gergana Dimitrova
