Parenthesis, proudly presents the second edition of IΝ-EDIT GREECE. The International Music Documentary Film Festival, will be presented in city of Athens from the 19th until the 25th of February 2015. Great musicians, powerful stories and unforgettable tunes will meet at IN-EDIT GREECE 2015 – Athens Edition. For a week «ODEON OPERA» cinema, will host the most significant music documentaries of the last years.
IΝ-EDIΤ Festival is considered to be one of the greatest music documentary film festivals around the globe. Its legacy has begun in Barcelona 12 years ago. At the moment, In-Edit Festival’s international presence expands to 2 continents and 6 countries, including Barcelona, Berlin, Bogota, Sao Paulo, and Santiago. Greece has already been a part of this international platform since the April of 2014, when Parenthesis presented the first edition of the festival in the northern city of Thessaloniki.
The festival will open (on the 19th of February) with the avant premiere screening, in Greece, of the documentary “Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender” which depicts Freddie Mercury’s solo journey, without Queen, from 1985 until his death in 1991. The rest of the screenings will include, among others, the “lost” documentary made by the Doors for the Doors: “Doors (Feast of Friends)”, the unique “Super Duper Alice Cooper”, that reveals shocking details of the eccentric rocks star’s life and the meticulous record of Washington’s punk scene during the 80s on “Salad Days: The DC Punk Revolution”. Furthermore, In-Edit Greece will present the documentary about the band that identified the Bliz Generation: “Spandau Ballet: Soul Boys of the Western World”, and an endearing and untold tale of Beatlemanía, adventure and loyalty on “Good Ol’ Freda”.

Midnight screenings, dj-sets, special screenings along with a round table about the different perspectives of the large scale events make up program of the sidebar events that complete the main program of the festival

At the same night ROMANTSO cultural space will be hosting “SOUNDCHECK PARTY” (21.00), a to-know-us-better pre-event with the sound of Drunken Haze (Drunken Haze’s song “Gambling Woman” is featured on the official spot)

In collaboration with the Netherlands Embassy in Athens and Orange Grove, we are presenting on special screening, the documentary “Dutch Influence” which highlights the influence that Holland has on the worldwide dance scene.
