To celebrate the upcoming release of Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, Ubisoft and Laced Records are releasing the music from 2013’s Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag onto vinyl as a 5LP collector’s box set and double LP set.
A ‘Seven Deadly Seas’ variant of the 5LP box set with blue discs and a ‘Master of the Caribbean’ variant of the double LP set with blue and orange discs are only available via Laced Records as Exclusive Editions. The 5LP box set and double LP set are also available in standard black from Laced Records and retail partners.
Edward Kenway’s adventures during the Golden Age of Piracy are splashed across the sleeve, with brand new cover artwork by illustrator and artist Jeff Langevin, and ravishing environment pieces selected from Ubisoft’s archives.
The 5LP box set features 79 tracks spanning Brian Tyler’s original score, multiplayer music by The Flight and Christian Henson; fan-favourite sea shanties including “Leave Her Johnny” by Nils Brown, Nelson Carter, Sean Dagher, David Gossage, Michiel Schrey and more; and Olivier Deriviere’s score for the Freedom Cry DLC. The 2LP set features 36 tracks spanning Brian Tyler’s original score and a selection of sea shanties.
Composer Brian Tyler is renowned for his blockbuster work across film, TV and video games. Gigues, rough strings, Hollywood percussion, and subtle electronic touches abound throughout the Black Flag score, with Tyler variously pirouetting and strutting through dramatic and action-packed cues while avoiding piratical clichés.
Brian Tyler, who composed the original soundtrack for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, says:

To date, the Assassin’s Creed series has sold over 230 million units, with the original Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag reaching over 34 million unique players. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on July 9, 2026.
The ongoing partnership between Laced Records and Ubisoft will see other standalone Assassin’s Creed titles given the vinyl treatment over the coming years.
