Moviescore Media will release tomorrow the original score from the 2026 comedy feature film GRANNFEJDEN, directed by Ulf Malmros, starring Kjell Bergqvist, Robert Gustafsson and Tuva Novotny and produced by Bright Moving Pictures and released by SF (Sweden).
Hanna moves home to the country and ends up in the middle of a neighborhood feud between the ex-prime minister Stefan Carlsson and the stubborn Harry Flodman, who are arguing about a smelly outhouse. As Harry’s live-in supporter, she is forced to choose a side; the power or the stubborn neighbor. The story is inspired by real events.
“This soundtrack leans into a subtle folk-tinged palette while staying melodic and approachable: strings, piano, acoustic guitars/ukulele, with touches of banjo and resonator guitar, anchored by a live rhythm section. Swedish composer Oscar Fogelström has been scoring movies and TV shows for the past 20 years. His clients include award winning movie directors, among them Lasse Hallström for whom he composed the score for Sweden’s entry for the Academy Awards 2013, The Hypnotist.
