Music Composed by JERMAINE STEGALL

The moving, urban score for Jamesy Boy, a well-crafted prison drama, composed by Jermaine Stegall. The score has an element of cinematic drama as well as urban undertone. Stegall attended USC and got his first taste of Hollywood when he interned with composer Marco Beltrami during the hectic post-production of Alex Proyas’ I, Robot. Since then, he provided scores for such films as the Warner Bros comedy Efectos Secundarios or Shout! Factory’s horror documentary called The Psycho Legacy. On television, his musical contributions appeared in shows likeSupernatural and House M.D. Jamesy Boy marks the fifth collaboration between Jermaine and director Trevor White.

The film tells the true story of James Burns who typically lived the life of petty criminals among the suburban street gangs of Denver, then suddenly found himself at a maximum-security prison cell surrounded by hardened criminals. There he can chose between survival or taking bigger risks by turning his life around… Starring Spencer Lofranco, Taissa Farmiga, Mary-Louise Parker, James Woods, Ving Rhames and Taboo from the Black Eyed Peas,Jamesy Boy opened in select theaters in January and is now available on VOD. Our release follows with the film’s US Blu-ray and DVD premiere on March 11.
