Justin Hurwitz won his 3rd Golden Globe Award in the Original Score category for his score for FIRST MAN, directed by Damien Chazelle . He previously won two Golden Globes for both score and song for Chazelle’s LA LA LAND.
Marc Shaiman (Mary Poppins Returns), Ludwig Goransson (Black Panther), Alexandre Desplat (Isle of Dogs) and Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place) were the other composers nominated in the Best Original Score category.
In the Original Song category, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Anthony Rossomando & Andrew Wyatt won the award for the song Shallow from A Star Is Born.
