Lakeshore Records To Release the EMERALD CITY – Original Television Series Soundtrack Available Digitally On March 3rd and on CD May 5th. for the NBC drama Emerald City. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Trevor Morris (ImmortalsThe TudorsOlympus/London Has FallenThe BorgiasIron Fist).

Swept up into the eye of a tornado, 20-year-old Dorothy Gale (Adria Arjona) is transported to another world – a mystical land where an all-powerful ruler (Vincent D’Onofrio) governs over one kingdom, has outlawed magic, and faces not only the wrath of a growing cauldron of witches but a looming disaster brought on by a mythical force. Epic, romantic and fantastical, “Emerald City” is an empowering tale of a young woman finding her true strength and identity even as she battles to bring a divided world together.
Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Ana Ularu, Mido Hamada, Jordan Loughran, Gerran Howell and Joely Richardson also star. David Schulner, Shaun Cassidy, Josh Friedman and Matthew Arnold serve as executive producers. The series is directed by Tarsem Singh Dhandwar, who also serves as an executive producer. “Emerald City” is a Universal Television production.
ABOUT TREVOR MORRIS
Two-time Emmy-winning composer Trevor Morris has scored compelling compositions across a variety of mediums including film, television and video games.
Trevor currently scores three of TIME magazine’s “22 New TV Shows You Should Watch in 2017,” including NBC’s “Emerald City,” which premiered on January 6th, “Taken,” premiering February 27th and Netflix’s highly anticipated Marvel adaptation “Iron Fist,” premiering March 17th.
Morris also composed many critically-acclaimed feature films such as Antoine Fuqua’s “Olympus Has Fallen,” starring Gerard Butler, as well as the riveting sequel, Babak Najafi’s “London Has Fallen.”  In addition, he composed Camille Delamarre’s “Brick Mansions,” starring Paul Walker, Tarsem Singh’s “Immortals,” starring Henry Cavill and Mickey Rourke, as well as “Michiel De Ruyter,” (aka “The Admiral”), which is one of The Netherlands’ top grossing films of all time.
Trevor is widely known for his expertly crafted scores in period television, such as History Channel’s “Vikings,” and ABC’s “Of Kings and Prophets.”  He won two Emmys, one for each main title theme for Showtime’s “The Borgias,” and “The Tudors,” and he received another Emmy nomination for his score for Starz’s “The Pillars of the Earth.”  His prolific style, using electronic and hybrid music, extends to his work on other noteworthy series including NBC’s “Body of Proof,” “The Firm,” and “Dracula.”  In the world of video games, he composed the epic third installment of Electronic Arts’ video game franchise “Dragon Age,” which was awarded 2015’s Video Game of the Year.
Trevor has entered the world stage as a concert conductor, conducting suites of his music adapted for live concert venues.  He conducted a full orchestra and choir for an audience of 12,000 fans in Poland at the Krakow Music Festival, and will be returning to the festival this year in May.  He conducted the first concert dedicated to television music at the Fimucite Festival in Tenerife, Spain.  This preceded his first live concert at SCORE!, with LA’s best musicians performing top television music, both past and present, in Los Angeles at Royce Hall.  His music was also performed at the first inaugural concert for Festival de Musica in Cordoba, Spain.
With over 15 solo feature film credits, 25 primetime television series and five interactive titles, Trevor is one of the most versatile composers in Hollywood.  Trevor is a citizen of Canada and Great Britain, and works from his state-of-the-art studio complex in Santa Monica, CA.
