In this suspenseful thriller, a city-dwelling couple is looking to relocate to the suburbs of Portland, Oregon.
While visiting the grandiose home of Emmett, a mysterious man with a talent for pairing the right property with the right people, the couple is suddenly gifted the house of their dreams with one non negotiable condition – they must never open the cellar door. As time passes, the couple realizes that the old houses are indeed like people… they all have their deep, dark secrets.
ABOUT MARLON E. ESPINO
Marlon Espino is a multifaceted storyteller whose music is as strikingly diverse as his distinction of voice. His aesthetic sensibilities create cinematic art that traverses a variety of film genres. Marlon’s early days as a composer included lending his musical talents to the three-time GRAMMY-winning composer Mark Mancina, working on many of his film scores including; Disney’s Moana, Planes, and Planes: Fire & Rescue, and later returning to contribute his talents to Moana 2. Additionally, Marlon collaborated with Mancina on two Clint Eastwood directed films, Cry Macho and Juror #2.
Born in West Texas, Marlon Espino came from a musical family and began his harmonious journey at an early age. He first learned about music from his grandmother, who began teaching him piano, and his father, a sax and keyboard player in the group Chicano Brotherhood. His love of music came naturally, and he later went on to study music and composition at Texas Tech University.
Marlon’s film scoring career includes the features Inheritance starring Lily Collins, Simon Pegg, & Connie Nielsen, Every Breath You Take starring Casey Affleck & Michelle Monaghan, and Cellar Door for Lionsgate Pictures.
