
Following a global livestream hosted by Mia McKenna-Bruce and Will Sharpe, we’re excited to share the final nominated films and talent for the 2025 EE BAFTA Film Awards.
42 exceptional films received nominations today. Conclave received the most nominations with 12, followed by Emilia Pérez with 11 and The Brutalist with nine. It was also a great turnout for first-time nominees, with 14 out of 24 nominees in the performance categories receiving their first BAFTA Film nomination.

In the Best Original Music category, which is named in memory of the film director Anthony Asquith, the nominees are:
- VOLKER BERTELMANN for Conclave
- DANIEL BLUMBERG for The Brutalist
- KRIS BOWERS for The Wild Robot
- ROBIN CAROLAN for Nosferatu
- CLÉMENT DUCOL and CAMILLE DALMAIS for Emilia Pérez
It’s the 3rd BAFTA nomination for Bertelmann, who previously won a BAFTA for All Quiet on the Western Front in 2022. All the other nominees are first time nominees.
The winners of the 78th BAFTA Awards will be announced on 16 February, 2025.
